Seljalandsfoss is one of the most popular and beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. In 2018, we arrived here just in time for the waterfall to be illuminated and enhanced by sunset light. In 2019, we arrived a few hours earlier; note the difference in color of the mountain behind the waterfall. In both instances, Seljalandsfoss is truly an enchanting scene. Also, note that on windy days, there seems to be a competition between gravity (downward) flows and wind-blown (sideways and upward) flows.
