Phang Nga Bay, part of the Andaman Sea, lies between the island of Phuket and the southern Thailand mainland. It's known for the spectacular limestone karst formations rising vertically out of the sea with cave systems, lagoons and myriad mangrove forests, islets and secluded beaches. The most famous of the many islands may be Khao Ta Pu, known as James Bond Island from the movie The Man With the Golden Gun.
