South Iceland has a plethora of diverse natural wonders. Some are well-known waterfalls (see Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss Galleries) and some are nameless waterfalls. Solheimajokull, an outlet tongue of Myrdalsjokull (second largest glacier in Iceland), offers accessibility and unique guided glacier hiking experiences. Expansive lava fields (see Eldhraun Gallery) and multiple volcanoes are also key South Iceland attractions.
