Moraine Lake is a glacially-fed lake nine miles from Lake Louise. During Summer and early Fall, the waters of Moraine Lake take on a unique shade of blue. During Spring, one can actually walk on the lake floor and capture reflections of the Valley of the Ten Peaks on its thawing surface. During late Fall, its crystal clear waters reveal details on the lake floor.
