La Pointe des Chateaux is a photographer's paradise. It lies at the easternmost point of Grande Terre, with amazing rock formations jutting out of the sea. The windy, rugged wave-battered coast is a definite contrast to Basse-Terre.There is also a clear view to some of the other Guadeloupe islands of La Désirade, Petite-Terre, and Marie-Galante.
