A magnificent turquoise jewel sitting beneath the iconic Torres del Paine range (and part of the national park of the same name), the stunning Lago Pehoé (Lake Pehoe) presents awe-inspiring views capable of taking one’s breath away. I was fortunate to stay at the Explora Patagonia (also known as Hotel Salto Chico) which is situated at the edge of Lago Pehoe and facing the Cuernos del Paine (Horns of Paine). Not only does the Explora offer amazing views in virtually every direction, it offers a daily range of hikes and tours to the park’s trails, waterfalls, and lakes.
