Cordillera del Paine is a mountain range in Torres del Paine National Park. The highest peak of the range is Cerro Paine Grande which towers over Nordenskjold Lake, a turquoise alpine lake with several hiking trails and overlooks.The hike to Mirador Nordenskjold offers stunning views of the lake and its surrounding mountains (including Paine Grande and the Cuernos). The trail passes through fields of foliage, and provides up close views of the spectacular waterfall--Salto Grande.
