Lago Nordenskjold is a turquoise alpine lake in Torres del Paine National Park discovered by the Swedish geographer and geologist Otto Nordenskjold in the early 20th century. There are several hiking trails and overlooks around the lake. The hike to Mirador Nordenskjold overlook offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains (including Paine Grande and the Cuernos). The trail passes through fields of foliage, and provides up close views of the spectacular Salto Grande waterfall, the outfall of the lake.
