Canmore, a town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains west of Calgary, is known as the Gateway to Banff National Park. With its many craggy mountain peaks like the Three Sisters, its Kananaskis Country provincial parks and its cross-country skiing trails at Canmore Nordic Center Provincial Park, Canmore has evolved into one of the centers of the adventure scene of the Rockies.
