Several years ago I briefly visited Sigoldufoss Waterfall on the way to The Highland and Landmannalaugar (see Gallery) and I remembered the distinct turquoise-blue color of the Tungnaa river. So, when an opportunity to return and fully explore Sigoldufoss arose, I readily accepted and enjoyed every minute. Now, on my third Siglodufoss visit, I focused on more intimate detail of the waterfall flows, the basalt cliffs and the ubiquity of Icelandic moss.
