Providence Canyon State Park, located in southwest Georgia, contains Providence Canyon, sometimes known as Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon". Its massive gullies, some as deep as 150 feet, were caused by poor farming practices during the 1800s. Today they provide some of the most amazing and unique images of the canyon soil with its pink, orange, red and purple hues.
