Amicalola Falls State Park, located in north Georgia’s Chattahoochee National Forest, is home to Amicalola Falls, a 729-foot waterfall that is the highest in Georgia and the highest cascading falls east of the Mississippi River. The tumbling waters of the falls can be accessed from either a park road and pathway or from a challenging trail with staircases.
