Herbert Lake, the initial lake encountered on the Icefields Parkway (when leaving Lake Louise) is a marvelous introduction to the sites and lakes along the Parkway. Nestled beneath Mt. Temple, its tranquil reflections and ambiance is a great way to start or end the day's travel.
