Bruarfoss is a picturesque small waterfall in South Iceland with a unique color ranging from bright blue, to azure to turquoise depending on the weather and time of year--contributing to its nickname of Iceland's bluest waterfall. Found along the Bruara River (which originates from the Hvita River of Langjokull Glacier), Bruarfoss drops 6.5-10 feet (2-3 meters) into a dark volcanic rock (basalt) crevice.
