Jokulsargljufur Canyon, one of the deepest in Iceland, is part of Vatnajokull National Park (see Gallery). It was formed by eons of glacial flooding of the Jokulsa a Fjollum river and (along with Hafragilsfoss) is known for its impressive waterfalls: Dettifoss (see Gallery), Selfoss (see Gallery), and Rettarfoss.
