Jokulsargljufur Canyon, one of the deepest in Iceland, is part of Vatnajokull National Park (see Gallery). It was formed by eons of glacial flooding of the Jokulsa a Fjollum river and is known for its impressive waterfalls: Dettifoss (see Gallery), Selfoss (see Gallery), Hafragilsfoss, and Rettarfoss.
