Horse Trough Falls, in the Chattahoochee National Forest near Helen, Georgia, is actually a series of waterfalls that free fall and cascade down three separate mountain ledges. Horse Trough is among several waterfalls feeding the Chattahoochee River, which forms within a mile of the falls and is only a few feet wide at this point. An easy climb thru a forest, the Horsetrough Trail ends at a wooden observation platform in front of the 75 foot waterfall.
