Nahuel Huapi National Park, the oldest national park in Argentina, surrounds Nahuel Huapi Lake in the foothills of the Patagonian Andes. A multitude of azul and turquoise lakes, swift rivers, thundering waterfalls, snow-capped peaks, extensive glaciers and verdant forests make up the park which also includes the major city of San Carlos de Bariloche with its emanating Swiss chocolate smells.
